Will My Trial Be Televised

In the wake of the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation trial we have been getting the occasional question of “will my trial be televised for all to see”? And up until that crazy trial that question was never asked. I suppose when two celebrities are fighting over who’s story is more plausible it becomes fodder for the internet, grocery store magazines and even YouTube.

But if you’re not a celebrity who craves public adulation then you probably don’t have to worry if your trial will go before reporters and paparazzi. And this office rarely handles those types of cases. Still some courtrooms are experimenting with internet-based web viewing of courtroom activities.

What cases do we represent?

The firm concentrates in personal injury cases of all types, medical malpractice, and wrongful death litigation.

What that means is that if you were hurt by the negligence of another, injured by a physician or met an untimely death due to a situation someone or something caused, then our law firm would be glad to take a look at your case to see if it has merit. But being hurt by someone who printed something negative about you in a magazine, a social media channel or some newspaper article, that’s just not something we can help you with.

In a typical personal injury or medical malpractice trial there will be opposing counsel representing each party, a judge, a jury and possibly a few witnesses, a courtroom visitor or two, a transcriptionist and a bailiff. No cameras, no YouTubers, no spectators…and no reporters of any kind. Most cases never make the news. It’s a private matter between two parties represented by their attorneys.

Here at the Law Offices of  David W. Holub we work tirelessly to serve each client aggressively and with empathy, to communicate regularly and clearly, and to obtain prompt and favorable results, while adhering to the highest standards of excellence and integrity. Our team considers it a high honor to be called upon to serve our clients whom we often come to regard as our friends.

Those high standards of excellence and integrity means we respect each and every client to not turn their case into a media circus. We know that selecting an attorney to represent you after being injured can be frustrating. But choosing the wrong firm to represent you only to have your personal information scattered over the internet that can be devastating and humiliating. We never wish that experience on any of our clients, that’s just not something we believe in.

If you are like most people, what you really want is just someone you can trust, who understands what you are going through, and is willing to help you, and has the experience and track record as an advocate to go the distance, so that when you are told that things will be okay, you can have confidence that things indeed will get better.
