Commercial motor vehicles must use extreme caution and drastically reduced speed around hazards like snow, ice, sleet, fog, mist, rain, dust, or smoke. Heavy commercial vehicles cannot easily deal with slippery conditions. Wet road stopping distance may be doubled for heavy trucks.
